The art of the infinite trace
A self-taught artist, Louis Gibiard (Vladinsk) has developed an obsessive and existential relationship with drawing since childhood. His work, characterized by a dense and poetic visual language, sits at the frontier between hyperrealism and oneirism.Inspired by organic forms and Italian Baroque architecture, his compositions evoke "floating worlds." These intricate pieces require hundreds of hours of labor—sometimes up to 2,000 hours for a single work—which the artist describes as a "true introspective asceticism."(Insérer ici une photo d'une œuvre exposée)
Live Performance: From ink to paper
During the inaugural weekend, visitors had the unique opportunity to witness a live drawing demonstration. Moving away from the digital world, Vladinsk shared the intimacy of his creative process, showing the extreme precision and patience required to create depth and texture using only a simple ballpoint pen. By subtracting his own image to focus entirely on the rigor of his work, Vladinsk has established himself as an emblematic figure of new contemporary drawing practices.
