About me

Who are you? My name is Louis Gibiard. I am a 24-year-old independent illustrator based in France, where I create and manage my work from my home studio (which is honestly just my bedroom :).

Why Vladinsk? I was born in Chelyabinsk, Russia, and was adopted at the age of five. My birth name was Vladimir. The name “Vladinsk” is a silly fusion of “Vladimir” and “Chelyabinsk,” reflecting my personal history and creative identity.

When did you start drawing? Materials were scarce at the orphanage where I grew up, so I did not have access to pens or pencils until around age seven. Once I began drawing, it became a continuous pursuit; one that has never stopped.
